Refund Policy
Cancellations are non-refundable. A change in personal circumstances does not entitle a ticket holder to return or exchange a ticket. However we do create a waiting list who are contacted when places become available that looks like will not be filled by a paying audience, which is vital to keep our company going.
All bookings are confirmed on receipt of full payment and confirmed by us via email. Reservations may be transferred to other shows with a minimum of 21 days’ notice (depending on availability). If you are unable to attend a reserved booking, you are welcome to send someone else in your place. Email or contact Essence Productions to advise of change. Essence Theatre Productions reserves the right to alter or cancel a show. Every effort is made to contact and accommodate guests in the event of alterations or cancellations. If a show is cancelled by Essence Theatre Productions (regardless of reason) you can select another date that suits or you are entitled to a full refund.
Code of Behaviour
Essence Theatre Productions reserves the right to refuse admissions or evict a ticket holder in accordance with LPA Ticketing Code of Practice if they feel they compromise the health, safety or welfare of Essence Productions staff, venue and/or other guests with aggressive, abusive or unsafe behaviour.
To be fair to all guests, our events commence on time as advertised. Essence Productions reserves the right to admit latecomers only when/if there is a suitable break in performance. Management reserves the right to refuse admission; this policy is to prevent disruption to other patrons and the performance.
Ticket Resale
Booked tickets may not, without Essence Theatre Productions prior written consent, be on-sold or offered for sale at a premium, offered as a prize or inducement, packaged or otherwise used for advertising, promotional or other commercial purposes. Essence Productions reserves the right to cancel any ticket sold or offered for sale or otherwise provided or distributed in breach of this condition, without refund to the consumer.
Tickets can, however, be transferred to another person if the ticket holder is unable to attend the event.
Gift Cards
Gift vouchers are valid for 36 months from date of purchase.
Online Gift Vouchers and Physical Gift Cards are not refundable and not redeemable in part or in full for cash.
Cards and Vouchers can be used in multiple transactions prior to the date of expiry.
Gift cards and printed Online Gift Vouchers should be treated like cash and cannot be re-issued.
Essence Theatre Productions is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged cards and vouchers.
